Razzleton Cocktail

razzleton cocktail - California Giant Berry Farms


For the drink:

  • 3 ounces vodka
  • 2 ounces raspberry lavender syrup (recipe below)
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • essence of lemon peel
  • California Giant Raspberries on lavender skewers for garnish

For the syrup:

  • 1 cup California Giant Raspberries
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 1½ cups water
  • 1 tablespoon dried lavender


For the drink:

  1. Add vodka, syrup, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker filled about 2/3 with ice. Place the lid and shake until jet cold.
  2. Strain into a stemmed cocktail glass or martini glass. Twist lemon peel over the glass to express the oils over the drink.
  3. Garnish with a raspberry lavender skewer. Serve immediately.

For the syrup:

  1. Place all raspberries, sugar, and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a low boil, stirring occasionally. Add lavender and reduce to a simmer. Simmer for 12-15 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool slightly.
  2. Add the mixture to a food processor and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer and discard solids. Allow resulting syrup to cool completely before using. Store in an airtight container.

Make it a Mocktail:

For a tasty, non-alcoholic version replace the vodka with sparkling water or sparkling lemonade.
