Quality:

Conventional: Fruit quality is good-to-fair. Minor occurrences of defects in the field include small and/or crooked fruit.
Organic: Fruit quality is good-to-fair. Minor occurrences of defects in the field include small and/or crooked fruit.

Volume: Volumes have decreased significantly, as some regional growers have diverted to the process market, coupled with seasonal decline. Availability through the end of the season will be limited.

Pack Counts:

Conventional: 20-26.
Organic: 26-28.

Santa Maria

Quality:

Conventional: Fruit quality is good-to-fair. Occurrences of soft, small and albino fruit are present.
Organic: Fruit quality is good-to-fair. Occurrences of deformed and bruised fruit are present.

Volume: Volumes have declined around 25-35% due to growers dropping subpar fruit and a slow rebound of flower sets. Availability is forecasted to be limited through the month of October.

Pack Counts:

Conventional: 22-26.
Organic: 24-30, 32-34.

Volumes:

Conventional volumes will be steady but limited, through October.
Organic: Light volumes available week 41 with a gap in arrivals weeks 42-43. This will be followed by steady arrivals of limited volumes weekly from late-October through December.

Conventional: Quality is good with some leaky/soft fruit.
Organic: Quality is good with some leaky/soft fruit

Volume: Volume is increasing. Mexico berries transitioned to export direct to Texas beginning last week.

Volume: Production is forecasted to remain steady for the next two weeks.
