1 lb California Giant strawberries, sliced
3 tablespoons honey
1 cup crushed ice
1/2 cup low fat milk
1 cup of your favorite "healthy" vanilla ice cream (we love this brand)
Whipped cream for topping
In a small sauce pan, simmer strawberries and honey, 3-5 minutes. Let cool completely.
In a blender, combine ice, milk and ice cream until smooth.
Layer by alternating strawberry mixture and ice cream mixture. Top with whipped cream.
