Take advantage of the versatility of berries with these 3 toast recipes. Ricotta cheese balances out the tart flavor of the berries alongside arugula and peanut butter.

INGREDIENTS

  • slices of your favorite bread
  • fresh California Giant mixed berries
  • peanut butter, granola, banana, raspberries or
  • ricotta cheese, honey, red pepper flakes, strawberries or
  • ricotta cheese, balsamic blueberries, arugula

DIRECTIONS

      • Grab your favorite slices of fresh bread and choose which direction you'd like to take with these different toast variations.
      • For a sweet twist - smear some peanut butter across your toast, top with granola, fresh raspberries and banana slices.
      • For a sweet and spicy twist - smear creamy ricotta cheese over a slice of toast and drizzle honey across the top. Sprinkle a small pinch of red pepper flakes and top with fresh cut strawberries.
      • For a sweet and savory twist - smear ricotta cheese over a slice of toast and add fresh arugula and balsamic blueberries to top.
