Quality: Quality is good with nice sheen, firmness, 90-100% color, and occasional bruising. Dry weather is improving botrytis.

Volume: Peak production is forecasted to continue for two more weeks.

Pack Counts: 16-18, 20-22 depending on ranch

Santa Maria

Quality: Conventional and organic quality is good overall with some occurrences of bruising, green shoulders, and deformed fruit. Crews are doing a good job keeping packs clean. 

Volume: Production continues to increase.

Pack Counts: Conventional 14-16, 18-20 depending on ranch; Organic 14-18


Quality: Quality is great with nice shape, sheen, and size. The only defects are dry calyx and occasional green shoulders from cool weather.  

Volume: Volumes are increasing each week with peak production forecasted for June. 

Pack Counts: Conventional 10-12; Organic 14-16



Central Valley

Quality: Quality is good

Volume: Organic volumes are increasing as light conventional harvests start.


Quality: Quality is very good with nice bloom and size. The only defect is occasional soft fruit. 

Volume: Volumes are in peak production. 


Quality: Organic quality is good with occasional soft fruit

Volume: Volumes continue to decrease post peak production.


Quality: Quality is very good. The only defects are occasional shriveled fruit and attached stems or flower debris. 

Volume: Volumes are decreasing slightly.





Quality: Quality is good overall with occasional soft fruit due to hot weather.  

Volume: Volumes are steady. 




Quality: Quality is good with some red cell and small-sized fruit due to hot, dry, windy weather.   

Volume: Volumes are steady.
