Watsonville, CA (Aug 1, 2024) — California Giant Berry Farms is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Youmans as the Vice President of Sales. In his new role, Tim will report directly to the President and will be responsible for driving the company’s sales strategy, business development, and market expansion efforts. 

Tim brings over 20 years of extensive experience in the produce industry, having held various senior leadership roles in sales and marketing. Prior to joining California Giant Berry Farms, Tim served as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Root 24 Farms, where he successfully introduced a new organic blueberry brand to market. His career also includes a significant tenure at Driscoll’s Inc., where he held the position of Vice President of Sales, overseeing the category development team and sales across the retail, wholesale, foodservice, and export channels.

At California Giant, Tim will lead the strategic and tactical execution of profitable go-to-market strategies, with a focus on driving top-line revenue growth and enhancing market share through customer engagement programs that develop deep customer alignment. His responsibilities will include fostering customer relations and mentoring the next generation of commercial business leaders within the organization.

Tim holds an engineering degree and has a diverse background from leadership in commodity sales to innovative product development. Outside of work, he enjoys an active lifestyle with interests that span a gamut from metal fabrication and artwork to athletics. Tim is a proud family man, with two adult children and his wife Kelley, to whom he has been married for over 30 years.
