Berry-Citrus Salsa with Grilled Cod

3-Berry-Citrus Salsa with Grilled Cod -1


For the Salsa:

  • 1 cup mixed California Giant berries
  • 1/2 orange, peeled and cut into small bite-size chunks
  • 1/4 shallot, thinly sliced
  • Juice of 1/2 lime, including zest of lime
  • Handful fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
  • Sea salt
  • Pinch of chili flakes
  • Drizzle of olive oil

For the Cod:

  • 2 (3oz) pieces of fresh cod fillets
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • Sea salt


  • To make the salsa, simply mix all the ingredients into a small serving bowl.
  • For the cod, simply add a drizzle of olive oil to each side of the cod and lightly season with sea salt. Warm your grill pan and on medium-high heat, grill the fish for about 3-5 minutes on each side depending on the thickness, or until the fish is flaky and tender. Serve with a large helping of the salsa and enjoy!
