Raise a glass with this sweet and tart Razzleton Cocktail!
INGREDIENTS
For the Drink:
3 ounces vodka
2 ounces raspberry lavender syrup (recipe below)
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
essence of lemon peel
California Giant Raspberries on lavender skewers for garnish
For the Syrup:
1 cup California Giant Raspberries
1½ cups sugar
1½ cups water
1 tablespoon dried lavender
DIRECTIONS
For the Drink:
Add vodka, syrup, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker filled about 2/3 with ice. Place the lid and shake until jet cold.
Strain into a stemmed cocktail glass or martini glass. Twist lemon peel over the glass to express the oils over the drink.
Garnish with a raspberry lavender skewer. Serve immediately.
For the Syrup:
Place all raspberries, sugar, and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a low boil, stirring occasionally. Add lavender and reduce to a simmer. Simmer for 12-15 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool slightly.
Add the mixture to a food processor and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer and discard solids. Allow resulting syrup to cool completely before using. Store in an airtight container.

For a tasty, non-alcoholic version replace the vodka with sparkling water or sparkling lemonade.
