Enjoy this trending toast recipe three different ways! Our favorites are Triple Berry, Blueberry Honey Granola, and Strawberry Banana with a chocolate drizzle.

INGREDIENTS

    For the Custard:

  • 3 pieces of Brioche or another soft bread
  • 1 egg
  • ⅓ cup plain or vanilla yogurt
  • Toppings:

  • California Giant berries
  • Bananas or other fruit
  • Granola
  • Chocolate
  • Honey
  • Optional:

  • 2 teaspoons of honey or maple syrup (if using plain yogurt)
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla (if using plain yogurt)
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (adds a warm depth to the flavor!)

DIRECTIONS

      • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
      • Whisk the egg, yogurt, and optional sweeteners together until well combined.
      • Using your hands or a spoon, press the bread down to create a “bowl” or “well” for the custard to sit in.
      • On a baking sheet, spoon liquid custard onto bread and add toppings.
      • Bake in the oven for 8-12 minutes, or however long needed to set the custard.
      • Tip: For an extra bit of sweetness, after removing the toast from the oven, drizzle honey or maple syrup over the top and lightly dust with cinnamon!
