WATSONVILLE, CA – July 21, 2025 – California Giant Berry Farms today announced the date for its 19th Annual Skirt Steak BBQ Fundraiser. Community members are invited to join California Giant for this beloved tradition on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at California Giant Berry Farms HQ (75 Sakata Lane in Watsonville). 

The annual Skirt Steak BBQ is the largest fundraising event for the California Giant Foundation, California Giant Berry Farms’ 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The Foundation is dedicated to distributing funds to organizations that are making a positive change in health and wellness for current and future generations in its growing communities.

For just $20, guests can enjoy a hearty lunch featuring delicious skirt steak, garlic bread, salad, fruit, and a chocolate chip cookie, with ingredients proudly sourced from local Watsonville businesses. This event offers a fantastic opportunity for locals to enjoy a great meal while contributing to a meaningful cause. 

This year’s BBQ will include special recognition of California Giant as the Food Donor of the Year by Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County during the event. This prestigious honor highlights California Giant’s significant contributions to combating food insecurity in the community, adding another layer of meaning to this already impactful fundraiser.
