Use California Giant berries in this slow cooker cobbler recipe!

Blueberry Blackberry Slow Cooker Cobbler

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups California Giant blackberries
  • 3 cups California Giant blueberries
  • ½ cup sugar
  • juice and zest from half a lime
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ¾ cup flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons cold butter
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

DIRECTIONS

      • Combine blackberries, blueberries, sugar, lime juice & zest and cornstarch in slow cooker.
      • In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Using your hands, knead in cold butter until coarse. Add milk and vanilla and stir until combined. Spoon flour mixture over berries.
      • Cover and cook on low for four hours, or until mixture is set and berries are bubbling.
