These berry filled dessert squares aren’t just your typical blondie! Berries make this recipe unique by adding bright flavors and color to this delectable dessert.

Caramel & Berry Blondies

INGREDIENTS

    Cookies:

  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ⅔ cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 T vanilla
  • 1 ⅓ cup caramel chips
  • Berry Caramel:

  • 1 jar caramel, warmed
  • 1 cup California Giant diced mixed berries

DIRECTIONS

      • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
      • Stir together melted butter and brown sugar
      • Add eggs and vanilla and stir till combined
      • Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and then slowly add flour mixture until all combined
      • Fold in caramel chips
      • Grease a 9x13 baking pan and evenly spread batter into it
      • Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
      • Once cooled, cut into squares and then drizzle berry caramel over top and serve!
