Indulge guilt-free in this Protein Packed Dessert Bowl that satisfies your sweet tooth while providing you with a serving a protein!

 

INGREDIENTS

    For the Protein Yogurt:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds
  • ½ scoop of any vanilla protein powder
  • For the Caramel Sauce:

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup of California Giant raspberries
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream

DIRECTIONS

      • Boil the sugar and raspberries together on medium heat, adding a splash of water. Boil until the sugar dissolves, the fruit breaks down and the mixture starts to bubble - about 3 minutes.
      • Swirl the mixture in the pot for another 10 minutes by moving the pot around in slow circles.
      • Stir in the butter and allow it to melt.
      • Remove from the heat and slowly whisk in the heavy cream until it's all incorporated. Set aside to cool for a few minutes.
      • To assemble - add the yogurt into a bowl, top with the fresh berries, mint, edible flowers, chocolate chips and drizzle with the raspberry caramel sauce. Enjoy!
