INGREDIENTS

    Strawberry Syrup

  • 2 cups California Giant Berries strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Matcha Latte Base

  • 3-4g matcha powder
  • 40g warm water
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • Ice
  • Strawberry Cold Foam

  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp strawberry syrup

DIRECTIONS

  • Strawberry Syrup

      • Add strawberries and sugar to a small saucepan over medium heat.
      • Let simmer for 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the strawberries soften.
      • Remove from heat and blend until smooth.
      • Let cool before using.
  • Matcha Latte Base

      • In a bowl, whisk matcha powder with warm water until smooth and slightly frothy. Add in the mix and stir.
      • Fill a glass with ice.
      • Add a few tablespoons of the strawberry syrup.
      • Pour in matcha latte.
  • Strawberry Cold Foam

      • Whisk (or froth) the cream and strawberry syrup until thick but still pourable.
      • It should be light, fluffy, and creamy - not stiff like whipped cream.
      • Pour on top of the matcha latte and enjoy!
