Blueberry Blackberry Slow Cooker Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups California Giant blackberries

  • 3 cups California Giant blueberries

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • Juice and zest from half a lime

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 3/4 cup flour

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 3 tbsp cold butter

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Combine blackberries, blueberries, sugar, lime juice & zest and cornstarch in slow cooker. 

  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Using your hands, knead in cold butter until coarse. Add milk and vanilla and stir until combined. Spoon flour mixture over berries. 

  3. Cover and cook on low for four hours, or until mixture is set and berries are bubbling.
