Ingredients: 4 oz. goat cheese; 12 California Giant blackberries, sliced thin + more to garnish; Zest of 1 lemon; Juice of ½ a lemon; 2 tbsp honey; 1 tsp Kosher Salt; 1/4 tsp fresh cracked pepper (approx. 15 grinds); 1 sprig rosemary, finely chopped; 4 pieces of naan; 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

A sweet and savory take on flatbread. Rosemary and blackberry come together with honey and goat cheese to create a delicious appetizer or even meal!

INGREDIENTS

4 oz. goat cheese
12 California Giant blackberries, sliced thin + more to garnish
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of ½ a lemon
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp Kosher Salt
1/4 tsp fresh cracked pepper (approx. 15 grinds)
1 sprig rosemary, finely chopped
4 pieces of naan
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

DIRECTIONS

- - In a small bowl, stir together and microwave 2 T honey, finely chopped rosemary, and the juice of half of a lemon in 15 second increments until just warm, let steep at room temperature until cool.
- - Once cool, fold the honey mixture into the goat cheese and add sliced blackberries, lemon zest, salt and pepper. Stir until thoroughly combined.
- - Heat a grill or cast iron pan over high heat.
- - Brush both sides of the naan bread with olive oil and char bread until warm and slightly crispy.
- - Remove the naan bread and spread the goat cheese mixture over top, garnishing with fresh blackberries and an extra drizzle of honey. Enjoy!
