A sweet and savory take on flatbread. Rosemary and blackberry come together with honey and goat cheese to create a delicious appetizer or even meal!

Grilled Naan Bread with Rosemary Honey & Blackberry Relish

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 oz. goat cheese
  • 12 California Giant blackberries, sliced thin + more to garnish
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of ½ a lemon
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 tsp fresh cracked pepper (approx. 15 grinds)
  • 1 sprig rosemary, finely chopped
  • 4 pieces of naan
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

DIRECTIONS

      • In a small bowl, stir together and microwave 2 T honey, finely chopped rosemary, and the juice of half of a lemon in 15 second increments until just warm, let steep at room temperature until cool.
      • Once cool, fold the honey mixture into the goat cheese and add sliced blackberries, lemon zest, salt and pepper. Stir until thoroughly combined.
      • Heat a grill or cast iron pan over high heat.
      • Brush both sides of the naan bread with olive oil and char bread until warm and slightly crispy.
      • Remove the naan bread and spread the goat cheese mixture over top, garnishing with fresh blackberries and an extra drizzle of honey. Enjoy!
