Make one of your coffee shop favorites at home with this Starbucks Inspired Strawberry Frappuccino. Fresh strawberries add natural sweetness to this DIY drink and replace the sugary simple syrups.

Starbucks Inspired Strawberry Frappuccino

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound California Giant strawberries, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • ½ cup low fat milk
  • 1 cup of your favorite "healthy" vanilla ice cream (we love this brand)
  • whipped cream for topping

DIRECTIONS

      • In a small sauce pan, simmer strawberries and honey, 3-5 minutes. Let cool completely.
      • In a blender, combine ice, milk and ice cream until smooth.
      • Layer by alternating strawberry mixture and ice cream mixture. Top with whipped cream.
