Strawberry Cottage Cheese Ice Cream

This quick and creamy recipe is a homemade, protein-filled alternative to traditional ice cream!


  • 2 cups (16 oz) full fat cottage cheese
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, (some chopped)
  • ¼ cup chopped pistachios
  • Toppings of choice


      • Add cottage cheese, a handful of strawberries and your sweetener of choice to a food processor or blender.
      • Once blended smooth, place in a freezer-safe container and fold in chopped strawberries, pistachios and any other toppings.
      • Freeze for a minimum of 2 hours.
      • Once frozen, leave on the counter 10-15 minutes to soften before scooping. Enjoy!
